Gem Stone Consultation-
.....................................Within Astrological Science it is mentioned that if one knows the lord of the 1st house which denotes ones body and the lord of the 9th house of his kundli which denotes his fortune, accordingly wears a suitable gem stone which suits both the lords of these houses is able to achieve a very healthy life both physically and mentally along with this also achieves a very bright and great fortune. Therefore it is quite obvious that if one is able to wear  the suitable gem stone according to the lord of 1st house for having a healthy body and is also able to wear a suitable gem stone according to the lord of  9th house for having a great fortune will help him to have a very successful and blissful life where in he can fulfil all his life’s desires and needs. To understand this better lets take an example of a brand new car which has everything ready, the driver is ready to drive and the passengers are also ready to be driven to their destination but they cannot reach their destination until unless there is fuel in the car, even if fuel is there in the car, if some of the wires are cut or one of the wheels are removed the car cannot take you to your destination. Hence, the meaning of giving this example is to make one understand that one should always wear a gem stone which would keep his body sound and a gem stone which would keep his fate sound in order to have a healthy and bright future which would help achieve ones life goals.
It is very easy to decide which gem stones to wear if the lords of both the body and fortune house belong to the same group and such kundli’s are also considered very good.
According to Astrological Science one should consult and understand to which group his kundli belongs to. The first group is that of Guru meaning Jupiter, wherein we have Sun, Moon and Mars belonging to this group. The second group is that of Shukra meaning Venus, wherein we have Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and Mercury. In Astrological Science, Mercury is considered to have no effect of itself and it gives the effect of the planet which is associated with it.
Before wearing and buying a gem stone/ lucky stone from the Jeweller one should be very careful and should not be confused by the weight or size of the stone. One should buy the stone which he likes at first sight and is affordable to his pocket. One should not fall into the trap of  buying them of a particular weight in terms of ratti or grams or carat. Ratti meaning Jequirity ( latin name Abrus Precatorius Linn), Fam. Leguminosae,  is a seed of a plant which is used within India for measuring the weight of the gem stone. In Northern India 1 Ratti = 120 mg,  in Rajashtan 1 Ratti = 180 mg, in North-east states like Arunachal, Assam, etc according to the environment there it is around 210 mg, and within Kerala’s rain forest this ratti is around 240 mg. Therefore it is imperative that one should not be worried about the weight and size of the gem stone rather he should buy the one which he likes from his heart and is within his budget as per clearly mentioned in our ancient gem stone literatures.
